The Norwegian Association are members of Norwegian Federation of Organizations of Disabled People (FFO), International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) and ATLAS-allinace.
FFO is a umbrella association, and functions as co-ordinator of the work and political activities of its member organizations. The ultimate goal of FFO's co-ordinating function is to influence policy decisions by utilising strength of numbers through unity.
IF is the world-wide umbrella organization for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. IF's mission is to improve the quality of life of people Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus throughout the world and to decrease the prevalence of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus by primary prevention.
The ATLAS-alliance is a union between Norwegian organizations of the physically impaired and third world aid work from several disability organizations in Norway. The ATLAS-alliance has 20 years of experience with aid to developing countries and this experience constitutes a unique and exceptional knowledge that is used to help improve the lives of people in developing countries.
